How did you get to where you are today?
My dad hired me a windsurfer in france wt the age of 13 and loved it, unfortunately due to illness I had to give it up at 15. Took it up again at 29, at
Brogborough lake where I met my now husband Peter & with his inspiration went on to racing & speed sailing.
What are your favourite conditions, and what kit would you be using?
Flat water very windy on My 5.5 Vapour race sail and my Thommen SR50.
Has windsurfing affected your life, how different would it be without it?
Met some of my best friends and my husband though windsurfing - cant imagine my life without it.
Where would you like to see windsurfing in the future?
More families using affordable kit, get them away from play stations and out in the fresh air.

Dave White for his passion for the sport is infectious.
Things that annoy you?
Being late, and not doing my best.
Where is the best place you have been and why?
Maui and Tarifa.
What are your top tips to get out more and get the most from your time on the water?
Set your kit up properly before going out, don’t rush it. Buy the best kit you can afford it always pays dividends. Keep fit when it is not windy.
