In 2004 Bjorn Dunkerbeck broke the record over 500 meters in Weymouth harbour with a speed of 36.18 knots. This record had not been broken since 1980. Bjorn used a T1 board for this fantastic achivement. It was there fore decided that we should make a Trophy, so that each year it would be awarded to the fastest sailor of the week. Everybody can compete for this and have a chance of their name on a Trophy next to Bjorn's.
